Dear Friends and partners,
Greetings in Jesus name. Happy to meet you again this year through this letter. God is good and His mercy endureth forever and it is true His mercy and grace was sufficient for each one of us all through these 6 months from the beginning of the New Year. I am sure each one of you are doing well by His grace, and blessing. We are praying for you and your family. Thank you so much for your loving support and prayers for our ministry. Our crusade which was held in our Harvest Center went good amidst the terrible oppositions from Satan. He tried his many ways to stop the meeting, yet our God blessed it tremendously, and many got saved and healed.
Well, this year as God promised us is going to be a year of abundant blessing in our ministry and He is going to enlarge our vision and extend our boundaries. The work in the Hallelujah garden in Tamilnadu is progressing and now the building for the children's home is going even more quicker to accommodate the children in this new place by the end of July 2007. We still need more small buildings for the various projects like weaving and sewing for the women folk in these villages who will be very much benefited by learning how to sew and weave, and earn their living. AS women and widows are not of much value and they do not have any source of income this will be helpful for them. Also we wanted to start a free education center for the adults and the children as the people from these villages have not been to school. We are sure God has a great plan and He will fulfill our vision in this HALLELUJAH GARDEN. Many poor and needy are going to be blessed with food, education, Job and know the love of our Lord Jesus, through this project. Praise The Lord!!! Try to be a partner in this project, and be blessed and also let know your family and friends about this project and you are also welcome to come and pay a visit to this Garden of Happiness and Joy.
We have now about 31 children from the Northern India who come from very poor families whose parent's occupation are mainly Prostitution. They do not have enough sources to take care of the kids and give them a good future. Some of them have one parent, and some do not have parents. Seeing the pitiful condition and the plight of these villagers a military man who got saved from this tribal village, brought these little kids ages ranging from4 to 12, both girls and boys. They had to travel about 9days to get to the Harvest center from their village by train and bus, and walking. They are very happy now and are going to school. If you would like to sponsor any child please do write to us, we will send you the picture and the detail of the children.
Our work in Orissa is growing tremendously though slowly but steady. Last month we had our team of 3 brothers to visit some of our work in the tribal regions of Orissa. They were able to visit some new places in the inner most tribal areas in the forest were any missionaries have not gone yet. From the main village, they had to go about 45 Kms up on the mountains to reach a village were about 20 families were living in small huts, a little better living then further up to the mountains another group of 20 families, half naked, then further more were 10 families with just a small piece of cloth tied at the bottom to cover their nakedness. It was a terrible sight to see people living in this type of a situation in this 21st century. Children, men, and women here had no clothes, proper food, and medical facilities. They have not seen any vehicle in their life. The naxalite (terrorist) groups who live hiding in these forests help these people with some clothes. No vehicle can go in these mountains, and our brothers reached some part of these villages by walking and in bikes. Now they were able to visit about 13 such villages and were able to start a prayer group in 3 villages, still more villages are to be explored.
In some villages. through the great toil of our Bible school students who are working in these areas about 5 five tribal people got baptized. AS baptism is banned in the state of orissa, our pastor had secretly baptized them in a brook in the middle of some rocks, in muddy water. This was a great yet appalling experience for our ministry. Now our Bible school students who know the language of this village are very much interested in working in these tribal areas, and are going once a week and holding a prayer group. But we have to first distribute clothes and carry food and medicines for them. We are planning to make a visit again to these villages in the month of August with these necessary things for them. Kindly pray for these people and also try to help them in whatever way God inspires you to do for them.
WE are praying for you and family and ministry. Pray for us also. Looking forward to hear from you. God bless you abundantly.
In Christ with Love,
Rev. Roy & Kezia
